I am never leaving my home without portable soap. And hand sanitizer. And I am never putting my hands anywhere NEAR my face at school again. Ever. Why? Well, it all started on Tuesday...

So I was sitting in my ALS class doing... whatever I do in class. Half listening to the lecture, half doodling on my notebook. Anyway, the class I'm in has these awful desks. They are these long tables with six chairs attached to them. And to get into these chairs, they swivel out or whatever. Except you always end up bumping into someone. So I was trapped on the inside part of the desk and when everyone got up to leave, I started putting my stuff away so that I could leave and so the guy beside me could get out of the table prison.

Too bad I gave myself a huge paper cut.

Somehow I managed to scrape my finger across my magazine, my coursepack, and my French notebook. And I cut myself right by my nail where it bleeds.

And boy was I bleeding.

I mean, papercuts usually clot pretty quickly if you leave them alone, right? Right. Anyway, I was trying to keep ot from dripping all over the table while trying to find a Kleenex in my bag. Of course I didn't have one. Anyway, I started bleeding all over the table. It was gross.

I felt like a bio-hazard.

So I was trying to get the blood off of the table the best I could with a used tissue I found in my coat pocket.

Ew.

But what the hell else was I supposed to do for cryin' out loud! And the whole time I'm trying to hide the fact that I'm bleeding from this guy next to me because, I mean, I could become known as being like bloody finger girl or something.

Anyway, I wiped up the blood the best I could and booked it out of the class through the back door.

So today I had that class again, and I tend to sit in around the smae spot so the prof recognises me.

The blood was still there.

I was like, Oh my God, ewwwwww!!!

And then proceeded to ignore it. Like, if I don't make a big deal out of it, no one's going to notice it.

So know that I have realised the disgusting multitudes of infection that could be on these desks, I don't even want to touch them.

Also, now I never leave home without a handful of band-aids. Peace! -Sara (^_^)v

I think I pulled a muscle in my arm yesterday. The sad thing is, I wasn't even doing anything cool like snowboarding or saving a small child or... something.

I was standing on a bus.

And my bag weighed a ton.

I mean, it was super crowded so I took my bag off so that other people could squeeze on, and ended up holding it the enitre time. I wanted to switch the arm I was holding it with SO badly, but I couldn't. By the time I finally got home I thought my wrist was going to break.

Anyway, I feel like I shouldn't be complaining because a pulled muscle isn't a big deal. It isn't like my city was hit by an earthquake.

I read that in the paper and I was like, oh no. That's just what Haiti needs. An earthquake. And I actually care because I had to do this big research paper on Haiti for my World Issues class last year. Do they ever have issues.

It's sad because it's like everytime something goes even remotely right for them, they get struck by a hurricane. Or an earthquake. Or some other awful thing. -Sara

If there is one thing that I cannot STAND, it is people who think it is cool to put, like, six e's at the end of the word love. Like, they'll go on their friends' facebook pages or whatever and be all "omg stephanie! ii loveeeeee ur hairr! sooooooo cuteeeee!!!!!!".

I mean really. Is that necessary? Every time I see that happen I think, you're an educated adult. Why can't you spell like one? I fear for the future generations.

I don't want seem like a total hypocrite, because I've probably done it too, but it's a bit disconcerting when people do it all the time. I just feel like... stop acting like you're dumb. Because you're not. I hope.

I also want to send a shout out to Air B! Happy Birthday... as of a few days ago. Lol. Hopeee you had a superrrrrrrrrr dayyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!OMGPONIES!!!!!eleven!!!!!!!1!1!!!!!!!
Peace! -Sara (^_^)v

Well, happy new year!

I wasn't actually planning on discussing new year, so... yeah.

Anyway, at Christmas I made my friends some stuffed monsters, and they turned out really well. Unfortunately, I forgot to take any pictures of them. But I decided to make one for my cousin because she's super cute and she looked after all of the bratty kids on Christmas. This time I managed to take a few pictures of him! The camera I used wasn't too good though.(>.<)I made this guy this morning. He took me about... an hour or so make. I think.
Anyway, as you can see from the handy reference, he's not too big or anything. And the blue part is just his back.

They were pretty cheap to make too. I've made four, and I could probably make six more... They cost about four dollars each to make, depending on the fabric you use. I kind of splurged on that...

I found the pattern here, so if you are looking for an affordable gift for someone, this is an idea. My friends really liked theirs. The woman who came up with them just doesn't want them made for commercial purposes.

That's... really all I have to say. I'm working on my next top five in my spare time. What is it? You'll just have to wait and see! Peace! V(^_^) -Sara

I've been fighting all my demons. -Charlotte Sometimes

Happy holidays! I use the phrase "Happy Holidays" because I realise that in order to be politically correct I must recognise all possible holidays occuring during the "holiday season", even if they are made upor I don't know about them. So there you go.

I personally am a Christmas celebrator, so I must say to all other Christmas-ers, I hope you had a good one. Mine was... strange to say the least. So here I have compiled my top five things NOT to do on Christmas. Starting on Christmas eve:

5- Do not say going to Church is a waste of two hours of your life (sorry God!). Because you will be punished. Most definitely. My punishment came in the form of what the Bible would call 'pestilence'. On Thursday I was cleaning the back of my house because my mom hosts dinner. So I was trying to help out when I felt I needed to lie down. So I was still lying down when my mom got home from work (super early I might add). I was like, I feel funny but I'm going to help you clean. And my mom was like, um, no because you have a fever. So I was in bed all day feeling guilty because I couldn't help out. And I still went to Church. And we left only FORTY minutes before mass so we were standing. And the priest was old school. Liked to talk about eternal damnation.

4- Drink two huge glasses of prosecco when your mom is on the phone with your old-school grandma. I was pretty buzzed. Not drunk. Not tipsy. Buzzed. The sad thing is, my parents find it funny when I get like that. At least my fever disappeared during mass. Anyway, I was telling her to tell my grandmother strange things. She found it pretty funny.

3- Have eighteen people in your house, a good deal of them small evil children. I honestly thought it was horrific. Usually, I'm okay on Christmas, but this year I was not dealing with it. Maybe it was the fact there were some people I didn't even KNOW here, maybe it was the demon kids, but whatever it was, I could not handle it.

2- Stay away from the bubbly if you ever find yourself in that situation. Because I was all, I cannot drink. Not happening. The strangers will be scandalised! But then my mom and dad were like, just have a damn drink. It'll make you feel better. Well, it did. I even felt good enough to eat dinner with the whole crew. And talk to people.

But the number one thing not to do at Christmas, in my experience, is to:

1- Take Gravol Christmas morning. I woke up feeling nauseous and my throat hurt a lot, so I was like, I am going to vomit if I do not take medication. So my head was spinny all day, and then when it wears off I get all weepy and hormonal. Maybe that's why I was so strange that day...

But it's not like it was all bad. My baby cousin is so adorable. She kept giving me high fives and smiling at me and then my other cousin gave her his cell phone to look at. It was sooooo cute! Anyway. Sebastian and Ciel beckon me, so peace out. - Sara

Let me live my life my way. -The Wonder Girls
Date : Sunday, December 13, 2009

I hate snow.

So much.

But because hate suxx, here's a list of brand new things that I love (and you might, too!)

5 - Ikigami: A Japanese manga. When I was coming home from Europe in March, by brother and I watched the movie (half of it) on the plane, and it was so good! So I looked it up and found out it was based on a manga. The manga is fantastic. It's really emotional and intense and a bit out of the ordinary. Highly recommend it.

4 - Gloss Bag from Lollipops: A bag (durr). I saw this while looking at cute bags and coin purses I could get my cousins for Christmas... in five years. Then I saw the Gloss bag which could be mine for... a whopping 138 euros! I love it, but I'm holding out for a bargain somewhere else!

3 - The Wonder Girls: A Korean girl band. First heard of them last year because my friends were raving about their single "Nobody". So maybe not totally new, but something I love all the same! Being featured on SYTYCD last week singing an English version of that song made them even cooler!

2 - Vitamin String Quartet: A string quartet. For the past two weeks on SYTYCD their songs have been featured, so I decided to look them up because one of them sounded familiar. This group takes popular songs (I recognised "Flashing Lights" by Kanye Loser West) and then arranges them in a quartet version (Air B. should look up "Dare you to Move" ;). Anyway, they're super good and they cover everyone from The Police, to Gwen Stefani, to Paramore, to Death Cab For Cutie. They are so buck beeyotches.

1 - Glee: A TV show. My favourite TV show (that isn't reality) currently on TV. The major cast are from Broadway, so the singing is amazing. I feel like it's like High School Musical... only so so SO much better. It is the best thing on TV right now, HIGHLY recommend it!

So those are five things I don't hate, feel free to comment with your top whatever. Or not. Lulz. Peace! -Sara V(^_^)

PS Thanks for the music tip Air B... even easier to post the music now... but I still mis imeem! T_T

I am the one hiding under your bed. -Danny Elfman

This is Halloween - Danny Elfman

Ha ha ha. I'm such a mega-creeper.

So yesterday night I was all, what should I do for Halloween? And since I'm such a loser, I'm not going anywhere. I WAS. But then I thought I had plans. So I was all, no I can't go to Rocky Horror Picture Show (One of my friends in my seminar asked). And then it turns out one of my friends I was supposed to hang out with made plans. Boo. So I was all, I'll just dress up in my head. And hence:

Because Link rox my sox and I'm an uber-nerd. Also I figured Halloween was a good time to make children cry with my shitty drawings. Ha ha ha. Hopefully I can find some movie to scare the shit out of me. Because that is honestly the only thing that can redeem tonight.

Actually, yesterday I was all "I'd want to be a Superhero for Halloween". And then that got me thinking. If I were some kind of hero, which one would I be? So I made a top five list. Ahem:

SARA'S LIST OF TOP FIVE HEROES SHE WOULD LIKE TO BE:
5. Spider-Man: The web-slinging hero of New York City (so he lives in a very fashion forward city, which I like). He's a genius, and he's a photographer. Two things I aspire to be. But I fell a little out of love with him when I saw the movie Spider-Man 3. He was such a whiner.

4. The Arbiter from Halo: Okay, I know I sound like the geekiest girl alive, but the Arbiter is tank. If you have ever played Halo, you know how awesome he is with is energy sword. Plus he sounds cool. Also he's an alien. The only downside is... he's so serious. If I were a hero, I'd at least want to be happy sometimes.

3. Sesshoumaru from Inuyasha: Okay, not a hero. More like an anti-hero. But he's really cool, and his hair is always flawless. How does he do that? I mean I step outside and my hair tangles. The only con is he's kinda mean sometimes. That's... not cool.

2. Sebastian from Kuroshitsuji: Also not really a hero. He's more like a villain. But then, the protagonist of that story is actually kind of the antagonist... Whatever. Sebastian can pretty much do anything. Also he can jump really high. And dance. And he's British. But he kills people a lot. So... That's kind of... evil.

1. Link from the Legend of Zelda: He has a horse, he's musical, he's a tank, he's brave, and he's cute. He's always nice, and the best part? He can actually display emotions. And he isn't a whiner. And he never kills people. Except Ganon, but he never actually kills Ganon and he does't count anyway because he's evil. Yeah, I'd definitely want to be Link. He's too adorable.

Hm. I don't seem to have any girls on that list. There just aren't any good female heroes. They're either too whiny, too clueless, or just stupid. V(^_^) Peace. -Sara

Hi! My name is
Not important. Ha ha.
Really, I'm not all that interesting. Just your average girl. Except for at night when I put on a spandex suit and save the world from the forces of evil. Other than that though...
